CHEVAL BLANC RANDHELI

BACK TO PACKAGE
  • HOTEL OVERVIEW

In the northwest of the Maldives archipelago, Noonu atoll reveals a preserved and exclusive exotic oasis. North of Malé, Noonu Atoll includes a handful of unspoiled green islands protected from the ocean by a large coral reef. The islands blend elongated palm trees, tropical flowers, white sand banks, pristine turquoise water and fringing reef. The atoll waters house a dazzling sampling of multicolour fish, rays and sea turtles. Only a few minutes away from Randheli by boat, the wild island of Maakurandhoo shelters guttiferae and pandanus flowers and many other shrubs also known as sailor wood. A stroll on the islands’ spotless beaches invariably summons up Robinson Crusoe stories.

In a preserved environment, forty minutes north of Malé by seaplane, pristine waters and opulent vegetation offer Cheval Blanc Randheli an exceptional setting. The Maison has been conceived in synergy with the island’s natural surroundings, lush vegetation and lagoon views. Contemporary yet indigenous, graceful and understated, it is the perfect balance of modern architecture and traditional inspirations. The graphic architecture is complemented by stylish interior design furnished with materials from the Indian Ocean and natural textures – rattan, bamboo, mother-of-pearl, coral or shagreen – enhanced by a vivid palette of colours with splashes of pop yellow and green.

    ROOMS & SUITES

In every villa, a Majordome looks after guests’ every desire. Bountiful kind thoughts punctuate the stay to adorn everyday life and to surprise guests. With an exceptionally personal and caring approach, service is tailored according to their guests’ wishes. As a guardian angel, the Majordomes work hand in hand with the Alchemists to organise bespoke activities and experiences throughout the stay.

    Island Villas

Hidden by lush vegetation, each villa encloses an intimate universe. A lush jungle on one side, and the endless ocean on the other, frame an elegant cathedral style loft whose monumental doors allow to break the space up into three distinct and private areas: a light-filled living room and a sumptuous bedroom with its dedicated walk-in closet that lead up to an oversized in and outdoor bathroom.

Outside, a jungle of palm trees and exotic plants shade the infinity pool which leads onto the ocean ahead. Lounge around the pool or enjoy a family lunch in the garden’s dining pergola. Larger parties may book a two-bedroom villa which feature a second bedroom across the pool with its separate entrance, a bedroom, a walk-in closet and a spacious bathroom.

    Water Villas

Standing high on stilts, Water villas overhang the crystalline lagoon. A wooden pontoon leads to the entrance of the villa. Inside, a living room, a bedroom with walk-in closet and a bathroom follow on, all with lagoon or ocean views. A multitude of terraces invite to enjoy the idyllic setting of the Maldives before or after a dip in the private swimming pool or in the turquoise waters of Randheli.

The first terrace awaits guests with an outside dining table with sunken benches. The second offers two welcoming armchairs for a reading break or drinks at the end of the day. The two deckchairs in the last terrace invite to relaxation facing the calm of the ocean.

    Garden Water Villas

Between land and sea, garden and lagoon, the Garden Water Villa offers an unprecedented experience of the Maldives. Half perched on stilts, half lying on an exotic front yard, the Garden Water Villa heralds novelty. Inside, a living room, bedroom with a walk-in closet and large bathroom succeed each other in perfect harmony, with breath-taking views on the horizon. A second bedroom greets other family members or friends.

On the lagoon side, the infinity pool and a patio with a dining table, armchairs and deckchairs welcome guests to enjoy the soothing waters where colourful coral reefs are home to exotic fish. On the garden side, comfortable and generous ottomans chairs and a hammock blend in with the luxurious vegetation. Perfectly suited for an afternoon of reading or to simply let go and enjoy the time passing.

    DINING & COCKTAILS

    The White

Discover the simple and gourmet cuisine of the White contemporary brasserie, open from breakfast to dinner. This simple and gourmet cuisine invites to spontaneousness. The menu unwinds a string of proposals all equally tantalising. Open onto the ocean or a large garden on either side, this contemporary restaurant changes during the course of the day, as if it was given a tempo by Manuel Mérida’s rotative monochrome.

A terrace shaded by palm trees, air-conditioned alcoves facing the ocean, a table next to the garden overlooking a pond, options are endless: the venue and its dishes adapt to wishes.

    The White Bar

Facing the Maison’s main pool, the White Bar offers refreshing cocktails and a light food offer all day long. Entirely opened onto the pool, the White Bar offers a wide range of settings designed to enjoy a drink and savour light dishes between two dives.

Outdoors, bench seats, fainting sofas and deck-chairs await for guests to enjoy the sun and views over the lagoon. At sunset, a festive atmosphere gathers guests around the Chef Barman’s delicious cocktails. Grand classics such as mojitos, caipirinha or caipiroskas are reinterpreted in a Maldivian fashion.

    Le 1947

Le 1947 signature restaurant was named after Château Cheval Blanc’s most prestigious and sought-after vintage. A vermilion shaded hallway leads to Le 1947 in all its refinement. Conceived as an exceptional culinary experience, it pays tribute to French cuisine, interpreted with delicacy and creativity.

In a refined décor opening onto a garden, the Chef engineers a play of flavours inspired by local and regional flavours, during which each course becomes an “invitation au voyage”. The garden is an ideal venue for guests looking to prolong the pleasure or to make a pause during their fine tasting experience.

    Le 1947 Bar

Le 1947 bar sits at the end of the vermilion hallway, just before the restaurant entrance. Le 1947 bar is an ideal spot to start or end a gastronomic experience in a hushed ambiance.

Opened onto the garden and sheltering an impressive wine cellar, le 1947 bar offers an exceptional list of wines, champagnes and spirits. From established Châteaux to new world discoveries, the vast selection holds great surprises. Counterpart of the wine cellar, a cosy cigar lounge is the perfect setting to enjoy the finest liquors and a fine selection of cigars and cigarillos, displayed in oak wood cases to preserve their extraordinary flavours.

    La Table de Partage

La Table de Partage hosts very private events conceived specially for families or friends. Designed to sit a dozen of guests, this generously sized table celebrates the convivial art of dining together. Prepared by the chef and inspired as per the guests’ preferences, the menu combines traditional sharing dishes scented with local flavours.

Magnum sized bottles of vintage wine and champagne are served to enhance the experience.

    The Diptyque

The Diptyque is a live-cooking theatre with a dual personality, serving the finest Japanese cuisine alongside Iberian gastronomy. The Diptyque brings face to face the gist of both Japanese and Iberian cuisine through a unique performance each night. Guests are asked to choose the destination of their choice for a complete change of scenery.

The venue is split by a large dining counter with one side offering the finest tasting size products of Japanese cuisine and while the opposite counter features tapas-style Iberian delicacies. Prepared live in front of a limited number of guests, the Diptyque is a highly entertaining dining choice. Kaiseki courses and exquisite sashimi slices compete during one evening with Empanadas and Queso manchego platters. A Port-wine cellar on the one side and an ornamental sake display on the other highlight the uniqueness of these two cultures and their gastronomies.

    The Deelani

On the jetty, the Deelani is a lively restaurant offering local seafood and Italian specialties. The Deelani and its relaxed alfresco ambiance offer a selection of freshly caught fish and seafood as well as other Mediterranean inspired suggestions.

Grilled seafood and regional products await guests returning from a lagoon cruise or a diving session. In all simplicity, fish curries are served with vegetables tartar. At night, the Deelani transforms into an open-air late-night venue serving up festive cocktails.

    Carte Blanche

The Carte Blanche in-villa menu fulfils the wishes of those who like to order what they please, when and where they please. Shaded by the latticework of the pergolas, the villas’ terraces are perfectly equipped for Chefs to create bespoke culinary experiences. Culinary journeys can be designed upon guests’ wishes; an improvised beach picnic, a diner aboard a local dhoni – the choice of private dining venues is endless.
