    Belle Etoile Royal Suite

Nothing compares. The Belle Etoile suite is quite simply the most stunning in Paris. Located high above the rooftops on the seventh floor, this unique suite lays Paris and its monuments at your feet. The 250 square metres (2691 sq ft) of private terrace offer an extraordinary 360° view from Notre Dame to the Musée d’Orsay, from the Eiffel Tower to the Grand Palais, from Place de la Concorde to the Arc de Triomphe and from the Opera to the Sacré Coeur.

Equally, the dimensions of the suite is spectacular with 275 square meters (2960 sq ft) of magnificence and light, decorated in a nineteenth-century style with private elevator access, sitting room, dining room, walk-in closet and bedroom with a bathroom in exquisite Italian marble. There is also a pantry and a kitchen for a butler and personal chef.

The suite’s architecture recalls such Parisian landmarks as the Eiffel Tower and the Petit Palais, a characteristic style of the late nineteenth century in which metal and glass combine with the green patina of zinc roofs. The master bedroom features a spacious bed with a midnight-blue canopy from which to admire the Place Vendôme column, the Opéra Garnier and the Sacré Coeur. The bedroom leads into a magnificent, 25 square-metre walk-in closet and from here, a magical bathroom! This precious marble jewel is appointed with a whirlpool bath and multi-jet shower. It too offers an unforgettable view of Paris. Sink into the tub and admire Montmartre and the Sacré Coeur on one side, the Musée d’Orsay and the golden dome of the Invalides on the other.

The Belle Etoile suite communicates with two bedrooms on the sixth floor to form a duplex or with a bedroom on the seventh floor. With the addition of these rooms, the Belle Etoile suite forms a single 370 square-metre space with four bedrooms. When at night the city lights merge with the twinkling stars and the full moon hovers above the Louvre, the tableau is complete. The Belle Etoile suite is Paris’ brightest star, which Le Meurice dedicates to the kings and queens of our world.

    Le Meurice – Alain Ducasse

A pure cuisine which turns simple into good! Real taste is returned to its truth, without any superfluous ingredient. Preparations are purified to leave room to the strength of taste. Going back to basics is also to respect the rhythm of the seasons when the product is at its best. For Alain Ducasse, the meal tells a story and the table is a stage! New tableware finds its way to restaurant Le Meurice. Unique table objects give the tempo together with original creations by Pierre Tachon. Valuable pieces of Japanese craftworks by Shinichiro Ogata can also be admired. Inspired by the Salon de la Paix at the Château de Versailles, the room majestically imposes itself with antique mirrors, crystal chandeliers, bronzes, marble, and frescoes… This emphasizes a romantic elegance and refined timeless décor! Then, there is the enchanting view which materializes through large windows, overlooking the neighbouring Jardin des Tuileries. The decoration of the restaurant was revisited by Philippe Starck in 2007. Alain Ducasse seeks to renew the image of haute cuisine.

    Le Dalí

It is definitely a place for encounters and a moment to savour. Settle down beneath the keystone of the Philippe Starck’s project, involving a giant canvas painted by his daughter, Ara Starck, measuring 145 sqm / 1560 sqf. The gold and ochre hues will transport you to a captivating world of interpretations. In this grand space where Dali’s spirit still reigns supreme, discover the many references to Dali’s work, such as a Dalinien chair with feet in the form of ladies shoes, a lamp with drawers or Le Meurice’s recognizable lobster on a telephone. These elements all add to the mystical aura of the place and makes it totally Dalinien!

    Afternoon Tea
Restaurant Le Dali wants to surprise you by inviting you every day from 3:30 pm to 6 pm to discover its “Tea Time” in a cozy and welcoming atmosphere. In its new offer, Le Dali has imagined a tea stand served at the table where you will savour delicious scones with their amazing clotted cream and jams. You will appreciate the delicate finger sandwiches and the imaginative creations of our Pastry Chef and taste an incredible variety of flavours that will delight your sight and taste buds! Food lovers will appreciate the delicious and appealing cakes, pleasantly positioned on a buffet near the astonishing Pastry display. To accompany those delicious treats, you will discover our wide selection of the best teas, coffees and infusions or a smooth Guanaja and Caribbean cocoa hot chocolate. Give in to temptation and experience the “Tea Time au Champagne” offer or succumb to the “Tea Time Fleur de Thé” formula that will give you the chance to observe through a transparent teapot – a flower blooming while your tea infuses.

    Bar 228

Named Bar 228 after the hotel’s address on 228 Rue de Rivoli, this place has become “the rendez-vous” of Parisians. The cosy atmosphere of Bar 228 has the warmth of British clubs, perhaps due to the many British guests that visited hotel Le Meurice in its early years. Totally reinterpreted by Philippe Starck in December 2007, the warm and hushed decor remains faithful to its origins with wooden bar stools and leather chairs. The atmosphere is subtly warmed by the crackling glow of tobacco shades and highlighted by the sparkle of rare crystal decanters to be filled at leisure.
