    The Legacy Suites are the newest addition to hotel. Designed to be evocative of an Upper East Side residence, each of the 29 newly renovated top tier suites feature contemporary décor that is elegant and timeless complemented by views that reflect the heart of New York. The Plaza is also the first hotel in the world to offer in-room iPads for all guests to control their entire hotel experience.     Located on floors 11 to 19, the Edwardian Suite, nearly double the size of the typical Plaza guest room, resembles a petite pied-à-terre. Exquisitely furnished in the richly decorative style of Louis XV, the Edwardian Suite features a spacious sitting room, a powder room for guests and a marble Butler’s pantry with a microwave oven, wet-bar and under counter refrigerator. In each suite, the bedroom and master bath are separated from the sitting room with elegant pocket doors that gently glide close for privacy. The master bath, entered via double French doors, is decorated with marble mosaic tile in a leaf-like pattern inspired by Central Park.     These luxurious and expansive suites (2500 square feet), overlooking Fifth Avenue, Grand Army Plaza and the Pulitzer Fountain, offers two private parlors, a dining area, a butler’s pantry and white-glove Butler Service.     The Plaza Terrace Suites are unique Legacy Suites (1500 sq. ft.) with two levels and a private outdoor terrace. The upper level features a large bedroom with a furnished terrace and a second Plaza bathroom, with a bathtub as well as a separate glass shower.     The Hardenbergh Terrace Suite

    The Hardenbergh Terrace Suite offers a staggering 2,100 square feet of space and is located on the southwest corner of the hotel’s penthouse floor, affording extraordinary views of Central Park from large windows in the suite’s spacious living room. Flowing off of the master bedroom, an inviting private terrace on the suite’s second floor offers enchanting views of the New York City skyline. Named for Henry Janeway Hardenbergh, the architect of The Plaza, the suite pays homage to the hotel’s heritage.     One-of-a-kind Suites

    The Royal Plaza Suite

    The one-of-a-kind Royal Plaza Suite is a magnificent, three-bedroom suite in a private area of the hotel overlooking Fifth Avenue and the Pulitzer Fountain. The elaborate array of private and social rooms, rich decorative style, sumptuous textiles and exquisite furnishings are all inspired by the ambiance of the royal court of Louis XV. A series of unique oval and round vestibules connect the suite’s formal entertainment rooms, which include an exquisitely designed living room featuring a grand piano, a luxurious dining room, which seats up to 12 people, and a library that has been stocked with titles hand-selected by Prosper Assouline, the founder of luxury book publisher Assouline. A state-of-the-art kitchen with Viking appliances facilitate sophisticated entertaining and is ideal for guests who travel with a personal chef or wish to retain the services of a chef during their stay.

    The Royal Plaza Suite also offers a fitness room with state-of-the-art equipment, providing an additional measure of privacy for guests. The master bedroom, which overlooks Fifth Avenue, is decorated in a romantic palate of creams, beige, and grey and has a separate dressing room. Generously sized en-suite baths are decorated with marble mosaic tile in a leaf-like pattern inspired by Central Park and are adorned with 24-carat gold plated Sherle Wagner fixtures. The Royal Plaza Suite, which is accessed via a private elevator, can also be reconfigured as a one or two bedroom suite. The second and third bedrooms have private entrances.     The Fitzgerald Suite

    In honor of F. Scott Fitzgerald, one of The Plaza’s most famous patrons, and to celebrate Baz Luhrmann’s film adaptation of The Great Gatsby, we invite you to experience the dramatic luxury of The Fitzgerald Suite. Designed by Academy Award® winner Catherine Martin, costume designer, production designer and co-producer of Baz Luhrmann’s upcoming feature The Great Gatsby, the suite is a dramatic art deco space that channels the dynamism of the Jazz Age. The suite is furnished exclusively by RH, Restoration Hardware to reflect the luxury and style of the era, which captivated Fitzgerald and drew him to The Plaza, inspiring its inclusion in his great works.

    Every detail of the suite relates to Fitzgerald’s life and his time at The Plaza as well as Baz Luhrmann’s film. Dome ceilings surrounded by antique mirrors feature 1920’s Odeon Glass Fringe Chandeliers. The bedspread and towels are custom embroidered with the Jay Gatsby and Daisy-inspired monogram, seen frequently throughout the film. The walls are adorned with portraits of the 2013 film cast captured by legendary Hollywood photographer Douglas Kirkland, images of Fitzgerald and his wife, and 1920s photos from Vogue and Vanity Fair. Bookshelves are filled with the author’s complete works and books that inspired the filmmakers throughout production, as well as classic RH accessories that include vintage-inspired trophy urns modeled on a sporting prize from the 1920s, cast-iron Brooklyn Bridge bookends and timeless 1920s French Glass Cloches. Guests will also find entertainment in RH’s vintage board games, including Monopoly, which originated during the era, iconic Gramophone-shaped iPhone and iPad speakers, custom Tiffany & Co. playing cards, and coffee table books that invoke languorous summers on the Gold Coast or the vibrant New York of the Roaring Twenties.     The Tower Suite

    The Plaza henceforth bequeaths thine noblest sons “Knights of The Plaza.” Young boys and girls who have demonstrated bravery and prowess on the battlefield are invited to spend the night in The Plaza’s one of a kind Tower Suite, high atop the streets of Manhattan. Located on the 18th floor, the suite features a round bed within a unique circle-shaped bedroom overlooking 5th Avenue. The 23-foot exposed brick cathedral ceiling exemplifies medieval architecture, giving the bedroom the authentic feeling of spending the night in a real life siege tower. The living room features The Plaza’s very own coat of arms, as well as medieval art that bring the time period to life.

    In addition, children will receive an eight inch metallic painted chocolate knight upon arrival, medieval-themed DVDs and books, and a closet full of knight dress-up outfits and toys from FAO Schwarz to complete the experience. To remain under the guardianship of the brave knight, guests also have the option to book an adjoining Pulitzer Suite and Deluxe King Room, converting the room to a three-bedroom suite, for a vacation the whole family will find memorable.     The Eloise Suite

    The Eloise Suite, designed by celebrated fashion designer Betsey Johnson is resplendently rendered in an Eloise-approved palette of pink and black. Whimsical décor includes a chandelier fitted with pink-tipped lights, candy striped pink and white wall panels outlined with gold leaf molding, a zebra-print carpet, a King-size bed with custom-designed bedding depicting images of Eloise, a sparkly pink headboard, and Eloise’s name scrawled in neon lights affixed to the wall above. The suite is also equipped with a wall-mounted flat screen TV and DVD player, Eloise DVDs and books, a tea set, Eloise and Weenie dolls, and Eloise robes and towels, and an Eloise Suite gift set upon arrival.

    Pets are not permitted in the Eloise Suite. Guests also have the option to book an adjoining “Nanny Suite,” as the Eloise Suite does not accommodate a rollaway bed.     The Palm Court

    From the moment the doors opened in 1907, The Plaza became an international icon of splendor and luxury. With a heritage rich in history and history-making events, The Plaza is unmatched. Long a part of Plaza tradition, the romantic and timeless Palm Court has served as a setting for scenes in many popular novels and films, most notably, F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby. The Palm Court serves breakfast, lunch and Afternoon Tea. An a la carte brunch menu is offered on Saturday and Sunday. In addition, The Palm Court offers an Eloise-themed children’s menu.

    The Todd English Food Hall

    The Todd English Food Hall — a European-inspired specialty food hall — offers the finest fresh, prepared, and gourmet foods. Designed by renowned architect Jeffrey Beers, The Todd English Food Hall mirrors the aesthetics of the finest food specialty markets throughout the world. The global architecture is reflected in mosaic marble floors, elegant wood paneling, ceramic backdrops and stained-glass windows. Known for his interpretation of rustic Mediterranean cuisine, Chef Todd English expands his culinary borders to international flavors, creating a true dine-around experience among the nine diverse food stations (Ocean Grill & Oyster Bar, Noodle & Dumpling Bar, Pasta Bar, Sushi Bar, The Grill, Taqueria, Pizza, Cheese & Charcuterie, Wine Bar and Patisserie).     The Todd English Food Hall has a 3,500-square foot private dining room (accommodates 175 for reception, 100 for seated lunch/dinner) that can be booked for special events including holiday parties, client entertaining, meetings and all occasions. If you are looking to host a larger event, a buy-out of The Todd English Food Hall offers up to 300 for a reception and 200 for a seated lunch or dinner.

    The Plaza Food Hall

    Three years ago, they embarked on a journey to bring together an abundance of culinary choices in one dynamic setting. They opened The Plaza Food Hall by Todd English in June 2010, where locals, tourists and hotel guests alike could meet, dine and shop in a space akin to European food halls not typically found in the United States.

    Their enthusiasm for all things food quickly caught on! The Plaza Food Hall has become a go-to destination, setting in motion a multiphase expansion. On May 23, 2012, The Plaza Food Hall opened in its 32,000-square-foot space. Todd English remains our “anchor” alongside a thoughtfully curated selection of New York favorites and relative newcomers.     The Rose Club

    The Rose Club, embodying the grandeur of The Plaza with a splash of contemporary style and spirit, overlooks the stunning new Fifth Avenue lobby. Located where the Persian Room, a once legendary nightclub, played host to such formidable acts as Bob Hope, Kay Thompson, Bob Fosse and Liza Minnelli, The Rose Club walls have listened in on many unforgettable moments in music and entertainment history. During the Persian Room’s 41 year run, modern jazz made a spectacular debut with a stellar cast of performers including Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, John Coltrane and Billie Holiday.

    Today, they invite guests and New Yorkers alike to join us every Wednesday and Thursday night for live jazz performed by Kat Gang and Lapis Luna. The Plaza’s Rose Club menu features an array of signature cocktails and a select epicurean menu to satisfy the tastes of those wishing to indulge in lighter gourmet fare.     The Champagne Bar

    Overlooking Fifth Avenue and the Pulitzer Fountain, The Champagne Bar at The Plaza, is reminiscent of the Champagne Porch that was in the same location when the hotel opened its doors in 1907. The most exclusive of The Plaza’s dining venues, which once welcomed legendary figures including the Prince of Wales and Diamond Jim Brady has become a favorite destination of today’s social set.     LA PALESTRA at The Plaza came to fruition in the Spring 2012 through a design partnership between LA PALESTRA founder and CEO, Pat Manocchia, Davies Tang & Toews and legendary architect Frank Gehry. The team created a stunning multi-level, state of the art wellness facility that reflects LA PALESTRA’s integrated philosophy, while still preserving the classic architecture of the historic hotel.

    LA PALESTRA has been created and is committed to being actively involved in the definition of a new generation of health care based on prevention. Founded in 1994, LA PALESTRA pioneered a unique and integrated methodology for medical diagnosis, treatment, and health maintenance programming. A true hybrid, LA PALESTRA programs are holistic and combine comprehensive medical analysis and treatments with individually tailored exercise programs. As a center for preventative medicine, they are staffed to provide 360 degrees of integrated health service to our members from acute back pain to addressing the needs of professional athletes.

    Their staff is comprised of physicians and professionals in the fields of internal medicine, orthopedics, nutrition, psychology, clinical social work, physical therapy, chiropractic care, cardiology, acupuncture, massage therapy, general fitness and athletic performance.

    The Caudalie Vinothérapie Spa is the perfect oasis in which to relax and restore skin, body and mind.     Each Concierge at The Plaza is a member of the ‘Les Clefs d’Or,’ the International Concierge Association, a minimum five years of experience as a concierge is required in order to join this prestigious association. Consequently, their concierge department is uniquely equipped to assist you in accessing the best of New York’s events and attractions including restaurant reservations, theatre tickets, concert passes and sports seats. Upon arrival, The Plaza concierge department is available each day in the Fifth Avenue hotel lobby and each night from 11pm until 6am at the overnight desk.
