    Named after Norwegian Olympic Gold Medal skier Stein Eriksen and nestled mid-mountain at Deer Valley Resort, the lodge is a European getaway in the heart of Park City. More than a resort hotel, the best hotel in park city, Stein Eriksen Lodge Deer Valley, has become a legend in its own right, offering guests an escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life through luxurious accommodations, world-class dining, legendary service, and year-round recreation. This year the hotel received the awards of “World’s Best Ski Hotel” and “United States’ Best Ski Hotel” at the World Ski Awards.

    Guests take solace from the world in one of our 180 rooms or suites, every one designed with rich colors, natural textures, and sumptuous fabrics, and each echoing elements of Norway’s traditional style mixed with contemporary American aesthetics. More than 145 stone fireplaces throughout the property, many en-suite, add coziness and warmth to the cathedral ceilings in the well-appointed common areas.

    Stein Eriksen Lodge Deer Valley is no ordinary resort hotel. Our accommodations in Deer Valley have been uniquely designed to achieve a luxurious but comfortable look and feel. Fabrics and finishes vary from room to room, offering guests a wide selection. Every guest room includes complimentary wireless Internet access, refrigerator, humidifier, jetted bathtub with separate shower, hairdryer, Molton Brown of London bath products, plush terrycloth robes, coffee maker with Starbucks coffee, and in-room safe. Suites include gourmet kitchens, cozy living rooms with fireplaces, private decks with hot tubs, and master bedroom with fireplace and private bath.

    Luxury Bedrooms

    Each room at Stein Eriksen Lodge is unique in style, architecture, and arrangement. This layout represents a typical luxury bedroom. Your room may differ from the layout seen here and will be priced accordingly.

    Luxury Suites

    Each suite has its own unique décor, architecture and arrangement. Ranging from 1,200 square feet to 4,900 square feet, and from one to five-bedrooms to accommodate up to 18 people. Varying in price according to amenities include:

    Grand Suites

    There are seven truly unique suites in the Mountain Lodge. Each beautifully appointed and with its own distinct style. Grand suites offer guests the best access to the concierge, restaurants, ski locker room and shops. Varying in size from 800 square feet to 3,000 square feet, grand suites can accommodate up to 14 people and include:
    – Spacious living room with fireplace
    – Fireplace in master bedroom
    – Full-size European kitchen
    – Dining area
    – Private Deck

    Forbes Four Star dining awaits guests at the elegant Glitretind restaurant, where stunning views of the surrounding mountain landscape only enhance the experience. Guests also enjoy housemade chocolates, a 10,000-bottle on-site wine cellar, and 24-hour in-room dining service.

    Like everything else at Stein Eriksen Lodge Deer Valley, the dining experience is designed to exceed expectations. From Forbes Four-Star dining at the Glitretind to a cozy meal in the comfort of a suite, après-ski appetizers to pre-dinner cocktails, Steins offers dining options to suit every taste. Open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and on weekends for Sunday brunch, the Glitretind Restaurant provides guests with a warm and welcoming elegant atmosphere, Four-Star dining, and impeccable service.

    Troll Hallen
    For more casual cuisine, guests can enjoy the offerings at Troll Hallen. Lighter fare and seasonal spirits are made all the more special by gorgeous views of the Deer Valley Resort runs, casual seating and friendly atmosphere.

    In-room Dining
    In-room dining represents the height of luxury and convenience and is available 24-hours a day.

    Wine seminars
    Wine seminars in the on-site cellar may also be arranged for guests lead by one of the certified sommeliers accompanied by cheese course or canapés.

    The Spa at Stein Eriksen Lodge Deer Valley boasts 23,000 square feet of Five Star luxury. Guests unwind after a day of skiing or shopping with one of dozens of customizable treatments including massage, facials, even full salon services. At 23,000 square feet with over 16 treatment rooms, the spa offers guests the ultimate in pampering and relaxation. Separate spacious relaxation rooms for men and women include access to a sauna, steam room, hot and cold plunge. Utah’s only Forbes Five Star Spa includes two couple’s treatment rooms, complete with private showers, tubs, and a shared private relaxation suite with a fireplace. Additional specialty rooms include two Vichy wet treatment rooms, manicure/pedicure stations and separate salon for hair and makeup.

    Verdandi Wellness Studio
    Complimentary fitness classes for guests are also now available at the Verdandi Wellness Studio on-site at Stein Eriksen Lodge. Classes include pre- and post-ski yoga as well as a number of cardio and toning classes.

    The experts at Stein Eriksen Sport will help outfit the novice and expert skier alike, come in and browse their selection of high quality ski equipment, ski clothing, accessories and demo level ski rentals. Conveniently located next to the ski locker room and ticket office, let the staff at Stein Eriksen Sport help make your ski rental experience as smooth and painless as possible. Let the knowledgeable staff at Bjorn Stova Boutique help outfit you to keep warm and look chic in this years most in vogue ski clothing, accessories and sportswear. Located in the day lobby across from the concierge desk, Bjorn Stova Boutique is open every day of the ski season from 8am-8pm. The boutique will be closed through May 8th, then will reopen for summer with basic hours of 9am to 5pm. Browse from a variety of unique gift ideas, sundries, Stein Eriksen Lodge logo items and souvenirs from around the globe. Located in the day lobby adjacent to Stein’s trophy case, the gift shop is open 8am-8pm everyday during the ski season. The gift shop will be closed through May 8th, then will reopen for summer with basic hours of 10am – 6pm.

    Whether visiting Park City for outdoor adventure or mountain relaxation, the city offers year-round access to a wide range of outdoor and cultural activities surrounded by the picturesque Rocky Mountains. Park City is home to three world-class ski resorts: Deer Valley Resort, Park City Mountain Resort and The Canyons Resort. Both Deer Valley Resort and Park City Mountain Resort were venues during the 2002 Olympic Winter Games. During the winter months when guests are not on the slopes they enjoy the following activities in Park City, Utah. Snowmobiling, Snow Tubing, Hot Air Balloon Rides, Nordic Skiing and Snow Shoeing.

    The Summer season is bursting at the seams with activities from leisurely activities such as gallery strolls, festivals and outdoors concerts to golf and fly-fishing to more adventurous sports including mountain biking, hiking, white water rafting and paddle boarding. The town of Park City has several zip lines, alpine coasters, scenic chair lift rides and adventure camps for participants of all ages. Additional family activities include bowling, indoor kid’s gym, and movie theaters. Year-round favorites include shopping on Main Street or at the Tanger Outlets, viewing movies from the Sundance Film Institute, or attending one of the yearly festivals and events in town.
