Buckingham Balcony Suite
The Buckingham Balcony Suite, located in the hotel’s historic Main Building, has been restored to its early 1900s prestige and character. The stately suite, believed to have been the original presidential accommodation of the hotel, features built-in bookcases, wood paneling and a fireplace. Its design was heavily inspired by a 1930s cigar room, and features rich chocolate and sable colored leather, brushed bronze and copper metals, and ember orange accents. The distinctive suite also boasts two unique features; a spacious enclosed glass balcony overlooking the San Francisco skyline, and a dry bar hidden behind a “secret” door. Diplomat Tony Bennett Suite
The Diplomat Tony Bennett Suite pays homage to the artist who left his heart in San Francisco, and first performed the signature tune in the hotel in 1961. Located on the 22nd floor of the Tower Building, the suite features the original artwork of Tony Bennett and celebrates incredible panoramic views of the Golden Gate Bridge to Alcatraz, Coit Tower and beyond. In June 2010, The Fairmont San Francisco, in partnership with Marshall’s Farm, installed honey beehives in the hotel’s culinary garden.
